  3. Thanks so much for the shout out about the shop! I appreciate it! And just so you know, I was able to get more of the kitty butt fabric, so there will be more of those bags up in the future.

About Peaches & Cream...as far as I know, it's being discontinued, which is why it is getting harder to get. I'm not sure if Pisgah is closing all together or if they're just not making the yarn any more, but yeah...the LYS near me is trying to stock as much of it as she can get right now because people like it so much and it won't be around for long. :(

(BTW...I already have that book, so you don't have to put me in the drawing! I love those one-skein books, though! :))

  15. You are hilarious, Jadee!!!! I would love to see more of your funny magazine reviews. I laughed so hard I cried! Everything you said (minus the "F" word which I don't use) sounds exactly like everything I say when I look at a lot of these magazines. Don't you wonder what these people are thinking??? Keep up the great work of making me laugh every week.

  17. I'm also working on the Japanese Garden Shawl over on Mommy Needs Knitting's KAL. I think you will enjoy the pattern...once you get past that 290 stitch cast on. Whew! I did mine with two strands of yarn - one from each end of the skein. Just a helpful hint I thought I'd pass on.

BTW, I'm a Sims-aholic, also. If I start playing, I can't pull myself away from the computer for hours...maybe days. :-D

  24. I love your podcast. It is really enjoyable. I have to say I really love your candid review of Knitting Magazine and you are right on all counts. They should have garments on reall modells and maybe they would see the flaws in their designs.

  27. Absolutely loving your wry, off the wall humor, J.D. Just discovered your podcast about a week ago, and have caught up quickly. (But need to be careful about watching late at night. I tend to laugh loudly, and might wake DH!!!) Have seen the book, and it's on my wishlist, so please enter me in the drawing.

I've watched you from the beginning of your podcasts but don't think I've posted yet. So here's a thank you -- you are always fun, I always learn something, and I always look forward to more!
