Lots of spinning stuff going here, some talk of wips and a toy FO.
Welcome to Episode 21
I’ve been doing some spinning! Just finished is some lovely brown wool. I’m also working on the second bobbin of Polworth dyed by Bohoknitterchic.
Next on the bobbins is some fiber gifted to me by Paletpc. It is a batt of merino wool by Hanks in the hood, and you can find them at www.hanksinthehood.com. This color is lovely green and charcoal, called Grasshopper.

On the kneedles
Watermelon socks as a treat for myself. Abi Grasso dyed the yarn and wrote the pattern I’m using for it.
http://www.etsy.com/shop/knitpurlgurl# is the URL for her shop. Her self-patterning yarn is full of awesome!
Japanese Garden Shawl by Wendy Johnson, using size 5 (3.75 mm) and size 8 (5mm) needles. I guessed at how much yarn I’d need to use for a long tail cast on. Using Wollmeise Raku-Regenbogen.
Little Starbursts Dishcloth by Sarah Cook in Blue Ombre Peaches and Cream, Size H (5mm hook)
Mom’s Ripple Afghan from “Cool Stuff, Teach me to Knit” book. Using bulky jiffy from Lion Brand and Bernat Soft Boucle and size 10/6mm circs.
Been there, done that-finished objects
Floppy flounder, done using various samples from a bag of goodies from Paletpc! Free pattern available on Knitty.com.
